Tambi\u00e9n vimos que estos valores M no son un l\u00edmite r\u00edgido, sino que representan un riesgo tolerable estimado emp\u00edricamente, y lo que hoy consideramos seguro puede ser diferente para algunos buceadores de lo que era hace medio siglo.<br \/>Saturar los tejidos hasta el valor M no parece una buena idea, y ya se dan casos de DCS con valores inferiores a \u00e9ste.  Entonces, \u00bfcu\u00e1nta distancia queremos mantener de estos valores en cada momento de la inmersi\u00f3n? De este \u201cmargen de seguridad\u201d tratan los factores de gradiente (GF)<\/p>\n<p>Los factores de gradiente son modificaciones del modelo de B\u00fchlmann que intentan adaptar el modelo a hallazgos y teor\u00edas m\u00e1s recientes. Crean una especie de \u00abdistancia\u00bb respecto a los valores M, pero al mismo tiempo tambi\u00e9n una clara modificaci\u00f3n: se cambia el modelo sin haber comprobado emp\u00edricamente las consecuencias. Por lo tanto, conviene tener un poco de precauci\u00f3n. Cuando uno asciende hasta este l\u00edmite, el tejido alcanza una sobresaturaci\u00f3n que corresponde a su valor M.<\/p>\n<p>Si no llegas hasta esta l\u00ednea, sino que te detienes antes, mantienes una especie de \u00abdistancia de seguridad\u00bb respecto a este l\u00edmite quiz\u00e1 demasiado arriesgado. Puedes trazar una l\u00ednea de este tipo con los factores de gradiente: Desplazas la l\u00ednea M hacia abajo, o incluso la doblas un poco.<br \/>\u00bfC\u00f3mo exactamente? En primer lugar, observas la distancia entre la presi\u00f3n ambiente (actual) y el valor M y tomas un porcentaje de \u00e9sta. Si nos fijamos bien en la franja de color que aparece a continuaci\u00f3n, el mapa de calor, se ve claramente que hay 16 l\u00edneas de colores diferentes superpuestas. Estas l\u00edneas son los 16 tejidos (compartimentos) del modelo de B\u00fchlmann: los m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos arriba, los m\u00e1s lentos abajo.<\/p>\n<p>Todos los tejidos se saturan durante la inmersi\u00f3n. Este proceso se muestra en diferentes tonos de azul, cuanto m\u00e1s claro, m\u00e1s lejos est\u00e1 el tejido de la saturaci\u00f3n. P\u00farpura significa saturaci\u00f3n casi completa, negro significa saturaci\u00f3n completa. Por supuesto, esto se mide siempre con respecto a la presi\u00f3n ambiental: al descender, se aleja del estado de saturaci\u00f3n y luego se satura lentamente, cada tejido en un tiempo diferente. En el ascenso, el estado de saturaci\u00f3n actual del tejido se convierte en sobrepresi\u00f3n, se produce la desaturaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La desaturaci\u00f3n se muestra en colores de sem\u00e1foro: El verde significa que el valor m\u00e1ximo permitido -el valor M- a\u00fan est\u00e1 lejos, el amarillo significa que se est\u00e1 acercando, la zona naranja indica un GF de 60-60, y el rojo representa el valor M.
