Dive physics, dive physiology, dive equipment, dive planning – with the Science of Diving program, you’ll learn everything you need to know as an experienced, self-sufficient diver. The course is a prerequisite for the Divemaster and entry into the world of diving professionals.
In the Punkfish Academy you get access to the SSI material as well as a lot of further knowledge and webinars that go far beyond the minimum. Ideal for those who really want to know what they are doing under water

To complete the course, you need an SSI account – if you don’t already have one: Register with SSI
As soon as we receive your order, we will activate the course for you. You work through it and contact us if you have any questions. When you’re ready, you’ll take the exam and receive your SSI Science of Diving certification straight away.

Highly recommended course. Especially the recorded webinars are very detailed and go far beyond the SSI documents (although these are also very comprehensive). Even as a diving beginner, I was able to follow the content well, which was largely due to the competent explanations in the webinars.
I can truly recommend this course to anyone who wants to get into the science of diving and is also interested in current study data etc.

Sehr empfehlenswerter Kurs. Insbesondere die aufgezeichneten Webinare sind sehr detailliert und gehen weit über die SSI Unterlagen hinaus (wobei auch diese sehr umfangreich sind). Auch als Tauchanfänger war es mir gut möglich den Inhalten zu folgen, was größtenteils an den kompetenten Erklärungen in den Webinaren lag.
Ich kann den Kurs wirklich jedem empfehlen, der in die Wissenschaft des Tauchens einsteigen möchte und auch an aktuellen Studiendaten etc. interessiert ist.

Perfect course for days when you can’t get in the water. The material and videos from Punkfische go far beyond the SSI material and are definitely a great alternative to the classic course at a dive school.

Perfekter Kurs für Tage an denen man nicht ins Wasser kann. Das Material und die Videos der Punkfische geht weit über das SSI Material hinaus und ist auf jeden Fall eine super Alternative zum klassischen Kurs in der Tauchschule.
