Description
When does oxygen help in a diving accident, what systems are available, and what’s important for their use? With our online program and the Punkfish webinar, you’ll refresh or acquire your knowledge. For any questions, you’ll have a personal contact. The learning content is the same for both options.
Update with Punkfish Diploma
Have you already completed O2 Provider training, are you familiar with your oxygen system, and do you regularly practice its practical application? Then this knowledge update is for you. It is especially aimed at divers, guides, and instructors who already maintain their practical skills and wish to refresh their knowledge.
Before issuance, you confirm that you have access to an O2 system, are trained in its practical application, and regularly practice it. You specify which system you use and when you last practiced with it. After completing the online program and reviewing your information, you will receive your Punkfish O2 Provider Update Diploma.
The online update does not include renewed practical training or practical assessment by Punkfish. Your confirmed practical experience is a prerequisite. If you lack experience, practice, or access to a system, we will work with you to find a way to complete the required practical training. Until then, we will not issue an Update Diploma.
Theory for Beginners
Are you just getting to know oxygen systems? Then choose Theory. You will receive the same online program, but no Update Diploma and no certification as a practically trained O2 Provider yet.
You can then complete the practical training with us in La Palma or, after prior arrangement, with another suitable provider. We will help you find suitable access to an O2 system. Practical training, any associated costs, and the subsequent certification will be arranged separately. If choosing another provider, clarify the recognition of your theoretical preparation beforehand.
Included and to be arranged separately
Included are the Punkfish online program, our webinar, and a contact person for questions. For the Update option, the Punkfish Diploma is included upon fulfillment of the stated prerequisites. Practical training and any desired additional association certification are not included.
Your Proof and MySSI
The diploma documents your completed Punkfish knowledge update; the information regarding your regular practical exercise is based on your confirmation. If you are an SSI Pro, we can store the document in your MySSI profile. The respective association decides on the recognition for specific association requirements. This offering is an independent Punkfish program.

Vero’s explanations and clarifications come across really well. The time spent on the O2 Provider update is excellently invested here. If the topic has slipped a bit, this makes it super easy to have it ready again. Thanks for that!

The course is exactly what you’d expect from an update. Very well delivered, the key points clearly highlighted, and therefore very engaging.

Der Kurs ist genau das was bei einem Update erwartet wird. Sehr gut gehalten, das Wichtigste gut heraus gestellt und deshalb sehr kurzweilig.
